Join our quest for the Holy Grail!

To book your tickets (@£10 each) visit the Leeds Castle online shop

This summer something extraordinary is coming to Maidstone, thanks to local Charity Protect Kent.

Everyone is invited to join us on Saturday 21st August in the stunning setting of Leeds Castle, for the first open-air evening in its nearly 900 year history!

Protect Kent has teamed up with Leeds Castle and local company The Screen on the Green, to organise a night of unforgettable open air cinema, screening the aptly chosen film ‘Monty Python and the Holy Grail’.

Bring a picnic and a bottle of wine and enjoy the beautiful view of Leeds Castle before the hilarious cult film begins on the open air screen. What better way to spend a summer’s evening?

Protect Kent’s Press Officer Gemma Watts said:

“We are absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity this year to hold such an exciting event at Leeds Castle. Open-air cinema is something which appeals to everyone.

Tickets only went on sale last week but ‘Monty Python and the Holy Grail’ is already proving a popular film choice!

We are one of Kent’s leading independent environmental charities and celebrated our 80th birthday last year but, because the majority of we do happens behind the scenes, there are still lots of local people who have never heard of us.

We hope this event will raise awareness of who we are with the general public, as we exist to help protect the Kent countryside from inappropriate development. If people don’t know who we are to come to us, we can’t help them! It is so important that we continue to build our membership and are recognised by a wider audience!”

Tickets cost £10 per person and are on sale now and available by visiting www.leeds-castle.com/shop.
